This quote means that you must learn from history/the past and if you don't none of the wars, speeches, deaths and discoveries were worth it. If we remember the horrors of war (for example) it is easier to have the strength to strive for peace like Archie Baxter. Archie:)
If we haven't learnt anything from our past generations, then everthing they did was a waste of time. Because the things that they learnt or the mistakes they made should make it easier for us. CAITLIN D :)

if we havent learn any thing from humans pasts all the world changng things were practically useless
It means if you dont learn from the past we will keep making the same mistakes.
